(a) Cancellation with more than 48 hours' notice: full refund of all advance payments. (b) Cancellation with less than 48 hours' notice: 100% of advance payments (travel fee + extras) are non-refundable. Notarial fees ($10/doc) are excluded as they are payable in person only. (c) Notary cancels: full refund, no exceptions.
A 15-minute courtesy window is included. After that, $1.00 USD per additional minute applies.
The notary does not provide legal advice (UPL). Maximum liability is limited to fees paid for the specific service. No liability for consequential, indirect, or incidental damages.
The signer must present a valid, current government-issued photo ID. Without valid ID, the notarial act will not be performed and the travel fee is retained.
